This discussion has two parts: Part 1 is preventing academic dishonesty due to the use of technology, and Part 2 is regarding plagiarism or false reporting within the broadcasting industry.
Academic integrity is an increasing problem not only in higher education, but also in the K-12 system as well as media outlets.  Due to the use of technology, students as well as writers, reporters, journalists, and researchers have plagiarized over the years.
Part 1: From a leadership point of view, how would you communicate (i.e., explain) to your leadership team about preventing academic misconduct in your workplace? 
Part 2: Please research one journalist who have lost their position, or maybe not, to ONLY plagiarism or reporting false claims (e.g., Rachel Maddow, Bill O’Reilly, Brian Ross, Brian Williams, Fareed Zakaria, etcetera).  Leaving politics out, if you were the leader of one of these media outlets, explain your thoughts regarding this journalist’s behavior.
